transfer timeout

When I try to upload a video, it says:

I tried the active help but it didnt help at all.... and when I go to confirm video, the file is there, but it says 0 bytes and nothing happens when I test for the download. Its as if its like a ghost file or something..... what does this mean? Oh, I'm usin SmartFTP
