Firefox pause

The only way I can have to download big sized amvs is to pause t he download, I use firefox so it should be possible but.. When I pause the download, after I'm not able to continue it, because it don't work! (I mean that when I continue the download keep to be stopped, there is no way) >_<

Resumes with firefox only work with videos on the kero server, to my knowledge.
