Suggestions o'stuff

How about lightenin' up? AD is all about the everyone allowed to think or feel whatever. Blah blah blah. So by definition then, if i were to do it calm and whatnot, and not say specifics, should I not be allowed to epxress my belief that the IRC room is full of elitist kids who's ideals of "peace and rules" extinguish folks ability to think outside the box, or to be weird as as fuck for the sake of weirdness. I was told i was banned for bashing some newbie. Sure, that's cool, i could respect that rule if i really wanted to stay there, but, "two days of this is enough" were AD's exact last words i saw. So, the weird shit and being loud for the fuck of it is against the rules?

If you can stand newbies asking stupid ass ignorant questions, why can't i randomly sing Duran Duran and talk about how I had that dream where Mario riding Yoshi came and tried to eat my nuts like they were a goomba?

Dude, leave it alone. Go make your own free site with hard working mods and admins if this one isn't good enough. Stop trying to get everyone in a big flame war. And don't ever say stupid and ignorant like they're synonyms.

And i didn't say stupid and ignorant were similar. I said stupid ass ignorant. As in "Stupid ass" and "ignorant" relating to the manner of stupid questions and their ignorance to read the guides and how-to manuals.

The reason: I don't like them, so I don't use them. I wasn't talking about them anyway, I was talking about his complaining about the mods.

Then I apoligise for the misinterpretation. It's just most people I know can't grasp the diference between the two. I just felt that if they were ignorant of the guides, then the question is not stupid, merely the result of said ignorance.

Anyway, by your logic, since I don't run a site and whatnot, i shouldn't have an opinion? Well you don't go into the chats, or make videos, or donate, so you sir, shouldn't have any opinion about anything that goes on here. You should just download and sit in silence.

I was not saying that your arguement was invalid, or that you shouldn't have an opinion. I wouldn't deny anyonbe of that, no matter what I think of them. You're assuming now. But fine, I'll leave it to the people who actually have a say in the matter decide, since the arguement itself does not affect me. I was just talking about how I think the mods deserve more respect then you seem to give them. Complaining all over the place just bothers me.

Wait, I forget. If I assume, then I make an ass out of you and... what was the last part?

Reguardless, respect is earned, not given. I respect those who've put up the site and whatnot and the good work they do (...most of the time....the new logo is just to flamboyently gay for my tastes), but mods on IRC are just over-the-top ban-happy and they don't seem to know what it's like to not be so uptight. Maybe they should try being an average person in there first before going ban crazy. Or something.

I could understand if they were trying to provide a more appropiate atmosphere for younger people .but people say some really fucked up shit in there and dont get banned for it. but yet someone like me who posts how fast i got a rar gets warned about rules , when you can talk about anal sex and many other exploitives that i could mention. I say , lets me less focused on what WE say as well as everybody. It pisses me off you cant talk about downloading a movie but you can a song. wtf is the difference. other than the censorship . i dont mind the irc room so much its mostly deader than the aim room anyway.
