can someone show me in the forum rules where it states you cannot post urls of sites that contain video clips

Forum Rule #7 still applies: There shall be no posts containing or on how to obtain warez, crackz, serialz, emulators, porn/hentai, bootlegs, or illegally obtain downloadable anime episodes, music, or any other sort of copyrighted material. You will be banned without warning for such posts.

It also encourages people to violate rule #2 of the non-forum specific rules.

the amvs? yea you'd think they'd be just or almost as illegal as video clips

Theirs a difference between something immoral (piracy) and moral (making amv's). The problem with the site in question is that it contained dvd rips of anime thats bein licenced in america, as well as a host of other things that would more thoroughly cover #7.

You still have mp3's, manga scans and video clips other than amv's.

Oh no people are gonna get my clips if someone doens't want to rip a dvd they'll find a way to download the clips, not having my url on here wont FORCE anyone to go out and buy a dvd and rip it i bet ud still ban me when i have a ripping tutorial on my site
