AMVApp - AVS - Sample Scripts

Post by SephirothJenova » Sun May 01, 2005 10:48 am

Okay, I just read through the guides for like the 20th time in the entire time I've been editing and I still don't understand the entire thing about coding your AVS script for deinterlacing and such. Why not just have sample scripts already made for popular DVD sources? Like have scripts ready for Eva, Gundam Wing, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, etc. It would make my life a lot easier at least.

They're working on it. Feel free to contribute if you can help. If you want scripts, people need to contribute.

SO CONTRIBUTE SOME, OR FIND PEOPLE TO CONTRIBUTE THEIR SCRIPTS!

A wiki is built by ITS USERS, not by deus ex wikia or whatever the hell you want to call it. I, and the rest of the AMVWiki contributors, have only so much time and source material to write articles for the thing. The point is that a repository EXISTS, people can ADD to it, and all we need now is more people to actually DO something with it.

End rant. For now.

I've been wondering about something for a while, actually: how widely advertised is AMVWiki? And how officially affiliated is it with a-m-v.org?

trythil, you should poke AD and see if he'll add a link to the guides section.

I know I personally would kiss whoever could provide a script for the non-platnium Evangelion that gets rid of the blended frames, corrects the damned coloring, and doesn't require tweaking for each and every scene you're using.

Unless that'd discourage people. In that case I'd just give you my thanks, no kissing is required.
