Post by TeclmmlEd » Tue Mar 22, 2005 9:04 pm

Ever since Kero came back on recently again my DL speed is SOOOO SLOW on the org. Idno why though. But it just recently happened. I DL everything else just fine but its only the org local DLs. Sometimes teh DL stops in the middle of it when its DLin!!

WHATS WRONG!!! AND DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROB!???

whoa! that came out weird....

as of right now, Kero's slow for me, so, maybe its just on a nice little, fluctuating rollercoater ride, anyone else having this happen with Kero?

I've noticed a big slowdown for me. I used to download at 300 kps or faster. But now I'm 90 kps or slower, like wtf mate?

Think of what happens to water pressure when you split a large water pipe into many branches. That is, pressure = force / area.

In other words, there more raw bandwidth than there used to be, but at the same time there are far more users, so the bandwidth:user ratio has dropped.

Actually, what I wrote was a really terrible analogy because the area determining pressure isn't the total surface area of the pipe, but rather the cross-sectional area of the pipe :P
