how do i download an aspi layer

ive got the force aspi and the aspi but then it says to reboot the computer so i do but when i check if the layers are there not wat do i do i havnt made a single clip since i started trying to make music videos just reading things i need and instaling stuff requird to make it work please help i am a newbee so help
