Banner help

Firstly just let me say im sorry if this is posted in the wrong area or maybe if im not even suppose to post about this and if u got the wrong idea when u read the title of this thread. but i was wondering if some can give me a hand with my banner

.

my problem is how do i make the amv logo match wif the background color. like u see words ''AMV'' and on the bottom of that ''AnimeMusicVideos.Org'' in small print. do u see that film strip picture? when i saw other banners they either:

match the color wif the background
change the color of the logo (meaning the film strip)

i guess u can say like the amv logo is fading in with the background but got stuck in the middle of it

. i hope u noe wat i mean cause this is stopping me makin banners ><

Perhaps you should go find a site with Photoshop tutorials or read the Photoshop help file.

You also may want to hold off on making a banner right now, especially since a new logo is being decided on. Once that logo is chosen, I imagine all banners w/ the old logo will be rejected...

Not only will new banners with the old logo be rejected at that point, all the banners with the old logo will be cleared out.

But they'll still come up as banners on the tops of pages, right? There are still some of those that use the 2002 logo...

I'll have to ask Phade, but I thought the policy was that they wouldn't anymore (at least once there are some 2005 banners to replace them).

BTW: I haven't noticed any old-logo banners at the top of the pages.

oh a new logo okayz.. thx. what should i type in google search to help my problem, cause i typed in '' Photoshop tutorials'' before and i got alot of great tutorials but i dont noe wat my problem would be under..

I think he means 'post two images: one of the results you're getting in photoshop and one of a banner that has the effeect you're trying to achieve'

Ah yes - sorry - was a bit too hasty there i guess
