not as many as 23

sometimes i check the forums at the library computers. since they don't have my preference for auto-login stored in a cookie there, i'm browsing the forums as a guest. that's probably the case with other people.

What's the problem with having guests? Regularly I browse through forums as guest and login only if I want to post something or to check my PM's. I never use the auto login function cause it can be abused.

Not stating that there is anything wrong with it - just wondering if all those guests don't abuse the system somewhat...

Not that there is any great reason for doing this, but if you wanted to skew the amount of attention a given thread or a given video got (for those people who look at things because everyone else seems to be looking too) all you would have to do is be a guest and keep hitting the refresh button on a given page until it looks like "everybody must be looking at this, I, as a folower with no mind of my own, must also look."

I'm not sure about videos though, are there any stats for just page loads on the video pages?

You can't bump a forum thread by merely reading it. As for video link hits, who cares?
