unable to download appropreate decompressor...

every now and againg, when i go to open an amv i've just downloaded and this message will pop up. needless to say, after spending the best part of half an hour waiting to see the amv, it's kinda fustrating to only be able to hear the music.
so, is there anyway to download the 'appropreate decompressor'? thankyou.

MPEG comes standard with Windows.

ffdshow (the higheset recommended): http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/ Download the alpha.

if it's OGM, MKV, some odd format like that, www.doom9.org has what you need.
