Perhaps a new sticky is in order?
I don't know, but I think we should put a sticky in General AMV about someone stealing your footage and what to do. I know it's somewhere else, but I can't remember where (probably the Forum Rules section?), but even so I don't think it's doing it's job. Perhaps a clearly titled sticky would cut these types of posts in half, amounting them to a mere 20,000 per day. If you approve but don't want to write one, I will.

And in the forum rules, but his point is that most people don't bother to read those. However, stickies are often ignored as well.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:The issue of video theft is in the Site FAQ.
I'm indifferent.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

And understandably so. However, as flint pointed out, not many bother to read those. My logic is that if there is a sticky in General AMV (the section most often used for such threads), perhaps we might be able to cut down on those types of posts. Eliminating them, however, is impossible. I just thought it might be useful.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:The issue of video theft is in the Site FAQ.
