WE NEED AN "EDIT" BUTTON HERE!

Post by Lady Shinsei » Fri Oct 29, 2004 11:09 am

Okay, this has been annoying the crap out of me for some time now.

Why the friggin heck isn't an Edit button on our posts?

If we make any mistakes, how pray tell are we going to edit it?!?

PLEASE remedy this as soon as possible, because I know this type of
message board is capable of allowing users to edit their posts.....

And I think there's one in the Anime Conventions forum.

That would seem to be correct.
I, the run-of-the-mill user has the following, in the forums outlined by http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... light=edit
Satire's Abilities wrote:You can post new topics in this forum

Just to further illustrate angelx03's point further.

The fact is editing posts would somehow/eventually/definately be abused if anyone could do it, anywhere. Only by the nature of the forum exceptions (important dates, info changed) are we allowed to, for accuracy.

Anyways, this has been discussed over and over again, let sleeping dogs lie, please... And at the very least, for new topics, the 'Site Suggestions' should be high priority for a query search (not that anyone'll listen).

In other forum you have the "powers" to:
You can post new topics in this forum
You can reply to topics in this forum
You can edit your posts in this forum
You can delete your posts in this forum
You can vote in polls in this forum
Not here.
Everyone knows that and threads like this just remind us of what we can't do.
Leave it like it is...

There are edit buttons in Multi-Editor Projects, AMV Contests, and AMV Conventions, as those have things that can change and might require editing to earlier posts. You do have the preview button, and if that fails and you forget to post something in that post, you can always post again.

you can always post again.
This has got to be the ONLY place I know of that not only allows, but also encourages and invites double, even triple postings. :?
