Problem with the site

Post by LightningCountX » Wed Oct 27, 2004 9:01 am

I just tried to go to the main page by typing in www.animemusicvideos.org like usual and it took me to a totally different site. I tried it a few times and it gave me the same thing. I had to go to yahoo.com and type the site in the search engine to get here. When I got to the site and tried to log in, it gave me this huge error message, but then let me login. Whats going on with the site?

Maybe you have spyware hijacking your browser.

well, i think that may be the case because my computer at school said it had a worm in it, but it was strange. The address bar still had a-m-v.org in it, but a different site. Oh well :?

i had a similar virus. it changed my dns server, so if you go to control panel/network connections and right click local area connections/properties then double click internet protocol, and if there's something in "use the following dns server address", it might be the domain name server the virus is pointing you too.
in which case i think i just chose "obtain dns server automatically" and it fixed it.
