On remasters and delete requests

Post by Otohiko » Tue Oct 26, 2004 11:10 am

I noticed the procedure changed slightly since last I submitted a deletion request, and I wanted to fix up an issue in my first video from back a while ago and re-upload it....

Do I submit a 'Bad entry' request? Or is it just that you don't want to deal with local file deletions-on-request anymore?

Yeah, just go through the Bad Entry request and make sure that you put that you wish to upload a remastered version.

Thanks, will do (eventually).

I noticed an irony in the fact that my previous successful deletion request went from 'granted' to 'denied' under the new system while still keeping the "please upload the new version ASAP" message for the explaination.

Yeah, under the system the way it is "Granted" is used only if the entire entry is being deleted, not just the local file. I'm not sure why it was set up to say "Denied" for deleting the local file, even if the request is actually granted. It's kinda misleading.
