There's also a less on topic, unregulated, non AMV-related AIM chat that's much more fun as long as you don't get off on the wrong foot with some of the people in there.

To be fair, most of us in there know about AMVs and do talk about them when prompted. But since it's more fun to be able to talk about anything, that's exactly what we do. If you want to only talk about anime and videos, definitely go to the IRC chat.

The IRC chat room devolves into computer speak 85% of the time. The AOL chat room, as I recall (been a while) was usually about day-to-day life stuff. Since my personal day-to-day life stuff is rather boring, I figure at least I might pick up something from the computer talk...

it's about a 1:4 ratio of amv chat:random other stuff.

Half the time it's Trythil and Kalium arguing about something technical, or zero1 doing random things with his anime

Modding that channel sure is fun
