While everyone's rushing to upload their DDR/Pro/Masters/WHATEVER videos, the Announcement forum is getting somewhat flooded, and since these are the threads most likely to get a lot of replies, a lot of other non-AWA-related vids might get lost in the flood.
Perhaps for the next month or so, a seperate forum can go up so that people can go straight there for their post-AWA fix? Seems unfair to the newbie editors who already have a tough enough time getting people to download their vids normally, much less when a metric ass-ton of great vids are being pimped at the same time.

Well, it could come out of hiding for one or two months a year, although I do understand your point. However, if you consider this useless, what about the VMA forums? Same basic concept.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:Great idea except it would be completely useless for 11 out of 12 months of the year and it's not a god idea to hide announcements threads as you might want to read them again later.

The VCA forums are for "please vote for me" crap that nobody wants to read after the VCA is over. The announcements threads have all kinds of "I loved your video" messages which creators would want to read.
I don't think we need a new announcement forum, people will just have to deal with the video deluge.

im noticing a very good idea by the RVG crew, make 1 post about all RVG vids, unlike DDR which is just all over the damn board, i think that if you make a project video there should be 1 post for the entire project, that would clean things up and make it easier to find all of the videos to the project... just an idea though.. as for awa pro/masters/expo vids... well you really cant control all of those, just gotta wait for them to clear out... *the reason im not posting my 12 new vids on the forums any time soon..*
