Just a thought
I just joined the a-m-v.org community, and one thing I have noticed, is that the dang pledge drive is friggin annoyin. I have no qualms supporting a good site. I would gladly donate. But, how can I even tell if it is worth paying money that I risk my life to earn. I cant even do blinkin search for a amv without being stopped, and not allowed to continue, by the pledge page. I cant even search out a particular studio's tracks, or look up a particular song without being stopped. I'm not asking for free bandwidth, or freedownloads, or even free storage for my own creations, but being able to see what is available would be a strong incentive to invest in your site. Just my 2 cents worth

And before I get a flame about the statement about risking my life for my money, I've spent the last 9 months being shot at, bombed, and mortared in Baghdad and various other places in Iraq. So yes I have risked my life for my money, and I am proud of it.

You know you can push the proceed button at the bottom of the pledge page to continue without paying, right?

um, the pledge page has a 'proceed' button. Noone is forcing you to donate - just click proceed, and your results will be available.
I'm sure the pledge page is annoying, but it's reasonable enough considering the site's pledge drive needs as much exposure and constant reminding as it can get.
Click on 'Proceed' (one of the 3 buttons on the pledge page which changes position randomly). You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Sipher, see what others have said. When you get the 'please donate' page there are two Pledge buttons and a Proceed button that appears to change position at random. All it takes is a bit of effort and perhaps moving the mouse.
Furthermore, last time I checked, the money you earned getting shot at is worth the same as the money some kid earns flipping burgers at McDonalds.
