From what I've heard you can only become a mod if Phade knows or has met you in real life.

you have every right to try, as you see fit.

but i discourage you from such a path, seeing that its not just everybody who is granted godly mod powers.

Phade is indeed the CREATOR of the site but he stepped down time ago. In his place are various people:
Site Administration and other MOD.
Plus how old can you be to not know of the creator at least?
