not much of a suggestion...[2 week waiting period complaint]

just a complaint...

I was looking at the home page for aluminum studios, because I like the "dreams of red" vid with sailor moon, and I saw a post directing me here to download another of their vids in the same genre...well, naturally, I wanted to take a look, but lo and behold, I have to create an account. why not, I'm not really into anime, but this could be fun. I create an account, and go to download this vid, and guess what, I can't for another 2 weeks! way to keep people interested in the site...I'm just going to forget I ever even saw this URL, since its not worth waiting two weeks just to check out a song I've never heard before, and may not even interest me...

If we didn't have the two week wait we'd have some bandwidth issues. Believe it or not, we need a deterent for the site to function (there are also a number of other reasons too including encouraging people to donate to the site to keep it running).

Now personally I think you should wait because there are many excellent videos stored locally that you will not find anywhere else, but if you don't then thats all the more bandwidth for us

Sounds about right.
Or, you could go to Otakon and laugh at how high and mighty the AMV creators think they are when the AMVs they show are 2 years older than dirt and 3 times as shitty.
I should probablymention google as another way to see AMVs, but I did. Oh shit.
