Journal Searches

I don't know if the server is big enough to keep everyone's journal entries all the way back from when they started writing in them. But would it be possible to implement a search/index function for our journals for when we want to search for past entries?

I often use *private* entries more like an online notebook and I was wanting to do a keyword search for something - not remembering if I had made an entry for it.

I think it would be useful, if journal entries are retained "that far" back, and if coding such a function could work with however it is coded now.

Actually I'd kinda like this option, but I've never thought about it till now...
