Finished amv but how do i get the address for the uploading

do i need to put it on a website or use a uploader or something? if so can you recomend one?

If you're asking how to upload your AMV to the Golden Donut server, here's a quick guide:

1) Log in to your member area

2) If you haven't done so already, go to "Enter New Video" from the menu and enter the details for your video.

3) Once that is done, go to "Upload video" and READ THE GUIDELINES CAREFULLY! If you do something which breaks those rules, you will be banned instantly.

4) Select the video you wish to upload and click the button. A new page should appear with the server name, username and password.

5) Open your FTP program (I recommend FTP Explorer) and connect to the server, using the username and password provided.

6) Upload your video, relax and have a beer.

7) Once the video has uploaded (This may take a few hours on a 56k modem) go back to "Upload Video", click the redio button next to the file you uploaded and click "Confirm Upload".

8) Now you're all done. Now all you've gotta do is persuade everyone in the world to watch your AMV. Sorted.

Bzzzzzt. Wrong answer. First, actually make sure the upload worked. That means download the video and check it. Then, and only then, confirm it.

Admins reserve the right to make fun of people who later have to request their upload deleted because they confirmed a half uploaded video, the wrong video, etc.

Ah ok, thanks for reminding me. ^^;

Oh well, 7 out of 8 correct isn't too bad.
