Why is there an edit button.

In the greater scheme of things, does it really matter? What is it that makes us yearn for the ability to change that which has been done, to rectify our wrongs? If they are no longer there, how is it that we are to learn from them? Must our slates be clean, free of all errors? Nay, we must use our past mistakes as stepping stones in the process of improvement. Rather than fixing the past, let us prevent ourselves from destroying our future.

Dear moderation staff. I humbly request to know if your moding powers extend into the living world. If so I would like the edit button for my life. There are a great many mistakes in my past I would like to take out, and the edit button would be a big help.

Respectfully,

I'll fight the phpBB system by refusing the Edit button!

Never give in to the man, man!

Every time you click an edit button, God kills an Armenian blacksmith!

For every post you edit, you add 13 seconds to your already-miserable life!

And of course, every time you complain to Phade about the lack of the accursed button, he adds your name to the 'secret list'.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I must sadly say you are a sad individual. I am for the 'edit' button but neither here nor there....
