is there any possibility there could be a stricter guideline for what banners are acceptable? IMO those banners about reviews and premiere crashing shouldn't be alowed. they don't represent the website or the community. so far not that many have gone through and won enough votes to stay, but as a member of the comunity, it's a waste of time to click the unworth radio button on all of them. i enjoy the banners a lot. I think there are a lot of talented people who submit them but i think the banners people submit are not being made for the site, they are being made becuase they hate premiere or the bad review they got. maybe making it so people can't submit those anymore will insipre them to make better banners.

Glad to see you dropping a suggestion in instead of complaining in other forums like most people
. Keep it up!
And I also support this idea. Some of the banners are just getting ridiculous.

Who made you the banner god? Shut your mouth and look at the pretty pixels.
Done?
Okay, Phade never said there needed to be any specific restrictions to banners (aside from the dimensions and file size and the site logo), so people could submit a banner with the Olsin twins on it as long as it meets those.
They're there for people in the community (not just the forum community or even the AMV making community for that matter) to make something that they like and other people like (hence the yea or nay voting).
Also if these banners are getting passed then that means that more people like them than you dislike them.
Phade had yet to say anything about the banners before so it doesn't appear that he's bugged by them.

i never said i was the banner ad god, nor did i imply i am... at least not to my knowlege. And what the hell is up your ass? i did nothing to you. I am just trying to get people to make different banners. the banners about premiere crashing and about bad reviews AREN'T winning, so why do they keep making them? Thats the whole point i'm trying to make.
After a while you get sick of seeing the same damn thing over and over. i'm just trying to get people to try soemthing else. I don't want to start a flame war over it. i'm jsut stating my oppinion. so back down, and see where it goes.

Yea, i know, that's why i'm suggesting it. Not saying "IT HAS TO BE DONE!!!"Okay, Phade never said there needed to be any specific restrictions to banners (aside from the dimensions and file size and the site logo), so people could submit a banner with the Olsin twins on it as long as it meets those.
yea they are for the amv comunity, but don't you think they should have something to do with AMVs and not their reaction to a bad review or how they can't use editing software correctly? that has nothing to do with the community, IMO.They're there for people in the community (not just the forum community or even the AMV making community for that matter) to make something that they like and other people like (hence the yea or nay voting).
He may not care. I don't care he doesn't care. if he wants to do something with them, fine. If not, i don't care. I'm just stating my oppinion about them. And like i said, the whole reason i posted was becuase i felt he would do anything about it, and i wanted to vent my frustrations.Phade had yet to say anything about the banners before so it doesn't appear that he's bugged by them.

Uh, they do have connections with AMVs. Or are you telling me that no one uses Adobe Preimere to edit with or that no one recieves bad reviews.Pwolf wrote:yea they are for the amv comunity, but don't you think they should have something to do with AMVs and not their reaction to a bad review or how they can't use editing software correctly? that has nothing to do with the community, IMO.

Hmm, I wonder what the people who made those banners about Primere crashes and bad reviews were doing.Pwolf wrote:And like i said, the whole reason i posted was becuase i felt he would do anything about it, and i wanted to vent my frustrations.
