Site Skin Managment

normaly, something like this wouldent botehr me. i consider the site skin as non esential as the baners, but like the banners, its pleasing to the eye. mine is good ol Zarxrax - Classic 1.1

today though, for what ever reason, i was browsing around the skins, looking for something new, and i noticed a problem.

something like 3 out of 5 of all the skins i selected for testing were all the same.

now i have never downloaded the template or tryed to make my own, but maybe the creators of these skins didnt know how to save it corectly, or soemthing? im giving them the benefit of the doute cuz i dont think someone woule just download hte template then just upload its default again under some weird name.

another problem is that a lot, and i do mean a LOT of them do not show anything at all, they simply take away the bars devided each section, and take away all the color to the site.


my seggestin is to have, insted of just uploading, submitting the new skin to be looked at for usefullness, then upload to be used. im thinking that with the lightend work load on the mods, they must be missing their busy lifestyle. setting up something that would like, send them a message of some sort that a new skin was uploaded. they go check it out. Dosent take 10 seconds to just test---approve/reject---hit ok button/hit delete button---submit prewriten thank you email to creator for aprovel/rejection (add comment) ect..ect..
