Not only do i need to register to download, but I have to wait 2 weeks? what a bunch of fucking retards! You guys really do try hard to keep AMV from becoming anywhere near being mainstream by choking the fucking life out of it by never making it easy to access. Bit torrent? no. News groups? not. assinine download sites with shitty bandwidth? bingo!

.....better than nothing. Its only 2 weeks for Local d/ls, Direct and Indirect are fair game...if the links are working (the org has no control over direct and indirect)....and you don't like this site's policies..then you can suck our balls.

Little comment about the 2 week delay:
IIRC, when I was a member of the sailormoon.org community (r.i.p grep sailormoon *), the worst case scenario was this:
After you registered, you had to wait a month before you could download anything from there, and when the account finally activated, guess what? There's a download limit for each month, and you only could get half of the D/l-points when you signed up! Now THAT ripped people apart!

And about the video:
Ahhhhhhhh! I though the growl-karaoke flash was the greatest thing that could come out from this kind of music, but I was wrong! Great job, this'll definately be in my favourites! (As about everything else made by ddp)

Um, no there's not. Not throughout the org if that's what you meant. Direct and indirect downloads do exist, not for this video but there are plenty of videos for which they do.

I might mention that you're much better off waiting two weeks than you would've been less than a year ago when there was no local server at all. People could only download from direct and indirect links. Many videos were unseen by the community or anyone and there were countless posts by people on this forum, begging to get hosting. The local server is not something to be taken for granted.

Lastly, this is not a steep requirement. It's not like the org is asking you to pay to download from the local server. The site expects people to be interested enough in anime music videos to wait two weeks to download a chunk of them on the site as well as give them star ratings. If you were expecting for this site to be free for all where anyone can download whatever they want at any time, well, too bad, it's two weeks off.

Well, no, you don't. You could download all the "direct" and "indirect" links you'd like. Without registering, even. Two weeks for free local downloads isn't that bad, really, considering how much they cost to provide. But for you, I'd be happy to make it two months, if you'd like that better.

Hmmm, commenting on the bandwidth of a download server you've just complained you can't use yet is, I must say, a strong indication of your intellectual abilities.
