preview in journal

could we have some thing like a preview journal kinda like we do before we preview or post? i usually try to re read what ive written before i finish writing in it. but some times i still dont catch things like i do when i preview a post. im not sure if this has been suggested before or not unless its on the things to do list but if it is some one tell me so this post can be ignored.

would it also be possible to get links and the like (bold etc) to be useable in the journal?
