VCA Category Suggestion

How about one for Best Multi-Editor Project (I realize this is going to sound horrible coming from a multi-editor project coordinator, but I highly doubt mine will be done by the end of the year)? I mean there have been enough of them lately (DDR3, Disney DDR, M:I-2, NES, whichever Animix's have been releaded, and I think a few others premiered this year), that I think having a VCA for them would be pretty worthwhile. And to kind of break it down to individual editors, Best Video From A Multi-Editor Project (would require that they've been given their own entries on the org, like most of the DDR and NES vids did, though probably not for Animix and the M:I vids).

Anyways, just a thought. If this has already been brought up, then, my fault. Hadn't seen it.

But maybe it's a bit early to make VCA suggestions ?

It's never too early. I started my VCA recommendations in my AIM profile January of 2003.

And anyway, I too agree with AtomX.

PS: My goal this year is to be Most Improved Editor!

The difficulty, as I see it, is one of classification.

Because there's nothing in the org database to suggest whether, say, Virtua Anime is part of a multi-editor project, then if such a category did exist it would have to list every single video as a possible choice.

This year, there have been (so far) a total of 13930 video premiered on the org (holy shit that's a lot).... finding videos in a list of 13930 is going to be pretty tricky. At least with things like "best comedy" there is a comedy category to narrow it down.

Of course, this is also going to be a problem with best video, but hey...

The more videos, the less surprising the results wil be

because obviously people will vote for those that are on top of the star ratings... and this wil not be fun....

But at least I'll make a "Collector" CD with the winners as I did last year :p
