I made one as a tribute to the towers because I <3ed them, though plenty of people would find it offensive. It'll never see the light of internet though.

I saw a tricky video that mentions something about New York but I thought it went too fast for most people to catch it. Well, in that one, a lot of things went over people's heads.

I don't know what in particular you are referring to, but for freedom of speech and expression to work, it has to go both ways.

In the end, Phade has the final say on it. But blatant propaganda about newer issues like that haven't shown up in any anime I have seen or heard of anyway. If the mere sight of them angers you, I really hope you can at least understand that some people (like me) want to remember them, not erase them from memory to avoid ever thinking about it again. They are a part of our history and not all of it was sad.

are we forgetting the reason of this site? its suposed to be a list for ALL amvs, not just the ones that dont offend us.

well, never the less, its a list of all AMVs. weather or not their are linked to (still sorry about that MJ )

id venture a guess that, if like hentai or extreamly violent AMVs, enough people are offended by 9/11 vids, Phade will probbaly just request that people not put them on the doughnut or direct link to them. but, seeing as how, of the ones i have seen non of them show hints of being hentai or extream violance, their is no real reason to tell the creators they cant link to them, or upload them to the doughnut.

the best advice i can give is just dont watch them if you dont like it.

Unless the videos are really, truely obscene (and I mean obscene), I don't see any good reason to remove them. If you feel there are any like that, feel free to post links.

Being offended occaisionally is a price of freedom. If someone wants to do social commentary in an AMV --- bring it on, I say. I'd like to see it! If it offends some people, well, tough. I'd hate to see the .org lowered to the level where no one could possibly take offense.

Really, that's propostrous. Unless the vids are really horrible and truly demeaning (which, really, is near impossible), I don't see a single good reason for cutting it off.

I know one AMV on 9-11 (Bush speech), and that's probably the one you mean, and I staunchly oppose any action against it as it's definitely one of my own favorites.

Frankly, I'll enjoy any video featuring the voice of that [insert insult regarding intellegence]...
