I'm assuming you have upload privleges on the Dangling Carrot. You need to upload the video by FTP, a good free FTP program like WS_FTP may be helpful. Copy the information provided on the upload page and paste it into the appropriate fields on your FTP program and connect. Once you're on, browse your directory for the video you want to upload and upload it over. Once done uploading, close your program and verify your link is working the way you're instructed to.

If it says the file or location doesn't exist when you test your link, it means the file name had spaces or someother foriegn punctuation mark..
I wasted about an hour learning that lesson the hard way
Anyway, make sure the file you're uploading doesn't have spaces and nothing other then letters and numbers.

That's something to keep in mind, after all there are a few song names and anime names where foreign characters are used. i.e. Weiß Kreuss. Well, that's probably another reason to not name an AMV after the song or the anime, but then when you have over 100 AMVs all in one folder it's useful to know what anime and song is used on the filename. Only way to figure out what characters a FTP program accepts is to experiment and rename the file accordingly.
