Need Help Downloading Local Files

i've already pledged money and my donation was recieved, so i'm guessing that i should be able to dl the local files
but when i tried to dl a file it took me to a new page (it was suppose to do this) and then it automatically started downloading...but it wasn't dling the vid, it dled sumtin called 'localdownload.php'
can sumbody help me figure out what went wrong, or is it too early to begin dling locals

I think you only get access right now if you donated over 50 dollars already. If you didnt, don't worry, everyone should have full access within a few days I think.

Oh, ignore that, for some reason I didn't see the entire 2nd paragraph of your message. Try making sure any download managers/accellerators are disabled, and I assume you are using Internet Explorer, correct?

okay thnx, i did have my Getright DA opened so that could have had sumtin to do with it, the dl still dled using the standard way of doing it (opens up the window that gives the option of open target from current location or save to disk) but i hope getright had sumtin to do with the error.
ye i donated 65 bucks so that should be cool for now, there was no reason for me to donate so much except to help out the site because i wouldn't be uploading any vids of mine until i get my (suxxy) computer upgraded or replaced...although dling local files is always a plus

Are you still having the problem? What video are you trying to download? What browser, version, and operating system are you using?

...i'm still having problems with it, i'm using internet explorer that came with windows ME, am i suppose to do sumtin wit that 'localdownload.php' file?

the vid was Sierra Lorna's Moondance vid, but i've tried dling other local files and the same thing happens

Hey Daio Kaji,

What browser and version are you using?

Some browsers are dumb and don't use the "filename" attribute for file transfers and will just put the script name in there. If you get the file downloaded as the script name, just rename it to the correct file name (hover over the local link to see the file name as well as other information).

actually phade u just described the problme, it keeps saving the script name (or sumtin) and i did notice the file name when i hover over the LOCAL link, so i guess i'll try that, the plan sounds solid

u'll know in my next post if it worked

...didn't work, i'm using internet explorer, i'm not finding anything about the version, i assume it's the first version although i doubt it, either way, it's bad news for me until i get my comp's bugs out and upgrade anyway
