Can we get a section for all of Pwolf's threads? Right now there's a million features being discussed in one thread and it's a little overwhelming to look at and I dont want have to sift through a bunch of comments that may not interest me on the subject and I think other topics are getting lost in all those threads, including some of the Redesign threads. In addition, I think right now we may have a little overlap going on in the threads.
Basically I'm thinking:
The Org Redesign
Stickied subforums in this subforum
- Goals...
(this can probaly stay as a general thread)
- New Features and/or Function
- Each thread discusses a new feature or function being recommended
- Site Design
- This should have separate threads for different recommended layouts with everything from a general layout to specific parts of the site
- Redesign General Discussion
- I'm sure some people may just have some general site issues they want to discuss, perhaps some people can make threads about specific functions they like and dont like
- Redesign Subforum feedback
- If someone thinks that we need another subforum within this to be added they can make a thread here and discuss it.
EDIT: This should be at the top of the forums page and not down here with the rest of site feedback. Put it where people will see it and possibly link it on the mainpage, maybe we'll get new people to tell us what things confuse them about the site and we can address that in the new layout.
EDIT 2: Let's face it. The Org is a HUGE site and there's no way that we can efficiently discuss redesigning it in four threads.

Re: Org Redesign Subforum

Re: Org Redesign Subforum
I wouldn't mind if there was a subforum for all this. I mean, if someone says anything useful, it won't get drowned in a sea of unrelated posts. And if someone else wants to use this information, at least they will be able to find it in an organized fashion.
When I think about it, this is the type of stuff we should have been discussing here in Site Feedback for years... although it would be pointless to move them here now. So I think a subforum would be appropriate, as long as it's still visible.

Re: Org Redesign Subforum
I agree, if for no other reason than GAMV getting flooded by threads on this is starting to get really confusing and doesn't help either general discussion or the redesign discussion.

Indeed, a subforum would just make sense and help clarity, I approve of this idea. <.<
