Yeah. I couldn't resist.

For my part, I have no idea where my avatar came from. It was some image I snagged off the 'net when I was in 8th grade or so.

Same here. Even though it's completely baseless find myself imagining that the members look like their avatars.
WHAT? You mean you don't actually look like a bunny samurai? :P
Man, you should've been here for the shock a couple of years ago - which was when people had suddenly realized I don't look like an ugly 40-50-something year-old (a consistent theme in my avatars)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

was it as shocking as discovering that angelx03 is a guy?

I seem to remember having used this avatar: Image while taking a break from my blue haired Amarao with the twitching eyebrow, But I'm not sure

My avatar is Ratix Farrence, the star of the game Star Ocean for the Super Famicom. Specifically, it's his character portrait in the game. I use it because he looks so darn friendly and reasonable, which is the attitude I try to convey the most online.

I am constantly changing mine because I can never settle on just one. The one I have now is from here: Lycentia's SM Graphics under the video game sprites section. (I'm supposed to give her credit!) I think I'm going to stick with this one for awhile (until a better one comes along!)

Usually....I just choose whatever anime I'm currently into, usually a main female character. The current one is Jo from Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel)
