Can you add some little script on the main page for DELETING BUTTON?

just answer Y/N and if NO pls. xplain why? asides of IGNORING THEM ALL the QC nor GET USED TO IT?

Can you delete an opinion someone left you because you don't like it? No. That's done purposely. So why should you be able to delete a QC?

How about hiding them? Nobody can see quick comments besides the recipient anyway; they're not like opinions, which are purposely supposed to be visible to anyone who leaves one.

I didn't design the QC system, so I can't claim to know all the considerations at hand. That said, the opinion system is pretty much what QCs were modeled after. You have not presented any reason other than "I don't like the QCs I get" to break from that.

They're not going to go through the trouble of making something to delete your QCs because you're the only person who simply can't ignore them.

You want to be able to delete QCs you don't like. I understand perfectly. For the same reasons we don't let you delete opinions you don't like, we also don't let you remove QCs. It's a waste of programmer time and effort, and you aren't required to look at them. My personal answer is that there's precious little point in it.

The question isn't "Why not?", but rather "Why?". You have to make a convincing argument. You haven't.

As pointed out by JaddziaDax, it's perfectly fine to suggest a new site feature (in this case being able to hide/remove Quick comments) but usually you need to convince other people that it's a good idea too.

to convince other people that your idea is good, you should start off with clear reasons why the feature is needed, or how it would improve a certain aspect of the site.

So far, I think I've gotten this much info out of the previous posts:

Why there should be a hide/remove option for Quick comments:
1: some quick comments are insulting, hurtful...or just plain stupid
2: being able to remove this clutter would make looking at new quick comments alongside old ones easier

Why we don't need this feature:
1: Not enough quick comments are given to make this feature useful to the average member
2: Quick comments are only visible to you, and it would be easier to simply ignore the stupid ones. The usefullness of this proposed feature is limited, the way that things are being done now is good enough

I think that your question has been pretty much answered by the 2 points above...so unless you have another point to make I don't think that QC hiding/removal will be made a new feature

OPINION is very way far different in QC.... why?

1. Op you can see who is giving you an OP.
2. You can if you request it on the MOD or ADMIN right?
3. You can talk by PM nor email on the person giving you words QC isn't.


Beside I am not saying I want to get rid of QC from others just I don't want too much QC on the page asides it's irritating me every time I will go to my other edit button Also I am not far head to go in argue though I want to know this beside it's on my head or let's say curiosity. If this matters to you like convincing nor arguing to me isn't. I guess convincing nor not just want to get clear answered to MOD's
