I thought Demonseal was the unofficial OT of the org? More or less? An off-topic spinoff made by members and expatriates. Anyway.

Knowname, lots of big studios have their own message boards, and probably they have OT sections.

Also, if you "want a place where your id can run free," there are many, many, many other websites on the internet. Sorry if you didn't know this. There are. Man, there have to be... dozens of sites on the internet, seriously. For starters, there's Google, where you can type in something you want and get, like, tons of websites dedicated just to that. It's, like, wow. And stuff.

So if you want to argue for OT, argue in a way that pertains to this site, as others are. "I wanna spurt all over the place nyahhh" is not a good reason.

well demonseals ok....AS long as NME i snot being weird. The OT.. ahh i rember the OT .. i was th ebiggest poster there. An dminus the political SHIT.. it was ok. BUT i hear soemone...AD. was to good to run the OT. so it was canned. HELL i woul dhave modded it. who better than me? i was th ebiggest poster.. next to the demonslea boys.

OK.. two words of that explanation....Political correctness. HE didnt really speak his mind there.. he meant was..."i really hate the way soem of these people here have abused the OT forum. Posting nude pictures and being assholes to members. This site was intended for AMV's and a place to discuss them. not a place to flame and talk shit. So to all you people who use the forums... FUCK YOU im the damn Admin.. and il remove them because i fucking can!" Of course this is all speculation.. but he should have been harsh like this if he wanted to tell how he really felt.

Personally.. i still think if there was some RULES that it would still be here. BUT SOMEONE didnt think of enforcing the rules and just deleted it due to it was to much of a hassle. Its th american way boys n girls!! i f ya have a problem...get rid of it or bomb it til it goes away. (oh this is in no means a flame against anyone.. its just a opinion.)

It was stated in that very same thread that they had already TRIED disciplinary measures in the past (banning SpPanda, etc.) and increased vigilance on the part of the mods, but it didn't work.

I can't comment on the rest since, well, I'm not Phade.

see they didnt put a IP block on him from his Internet provider is why. anyway .. he didnt want the hassle. but anyway its a dead horse. just mark the demonseal as a OT forum here. just make a link. OH and yeah Spanda was a asshole of the highest caliber sometimes.

well! seems that this discussion has been opened back up since it was locked.

Anyway I just wanna say this, realize that what I initially refered to as teenage rebelion is a bit different from true rebelion. I don't mean exercising your rights kind of rebelion, I mean the truly destructive kind of rebelion. Also, no matter how unrebelious you may think you are, if your a typical, dependant teenager, you ARE rebelious. Beleive me, I was among the least rebelious but no matter what, after 12 years under your parents roof it's only human to want out, want everybody off your back. It's not called teenage rebelion because it is limited TO teenagers, BUT it is most prevelant to teenagers... I mean, what else CAN you do?? -make amvs, listen to music etc. that's what- I DO make amvs to show my 'teenage' rebellion (aka usefullnessthrough uselessness or angst, anxiousness for the teenage soul), only not so many. And that leads me to my point! As I look at my amvs pre-OT they were... more loose, more not there to prove a point in my usefullness.

Now there is the solution of going elsewhere, but I've found, you go elsewhere you have little reason to come back. When you get down to it, ppl come here to display their usefullness to themselves and/ or others. If you go off to demonseal to OT than there goes your usefullness, you take up MMORPGs, you run to drinking to let loose and your usefullness is shot. Like alcahol, going off sight is addictive in a way, you end up doing it more and more till you just have to go cold shoulder, you lose interest in what you were doing before because you just don't think you can be usefull enough.

I'd also like to repeat this trueth, for every force there is an equal and opposite counterforce. With an OT forum, like I said, my videos were of a better quality and I'm sure some other particapents of OT felt the same! Now this is a rather selfish plea, but I would love to see that level of compliancy again, bottom line the org was just SOO much better in 2003 and I'm not so sure it was just because there were less 'posers'.

Granted, like I said, I am a pretty selfish one at times, I was under the impression 'Phade turned the reigns over, got more help, I'm not sure what the problem is??' but now I've seen there is more however I'm of the opinion that the good will outweigh the bad, maybe 7 will be returned to the average score and we'll FINALLY be able to decide WICH video IS the best post OT video, Euphoria or Mark of the Beast. Notice a trend?? I can't think of such bickering as that back when the OT was around... yes, we had religion threads that would peak triple digits within hours and the occasional political discussion (was SPPanda all that bad?? I mean he had his 'campaign'... I usually kept outta REALLY stupid threads so I didn't know) and those don't belong even in an ot section on a-m-v.org ESPECIALLY not out of that section. But what about gameing news, movie opinions or just talking about -nothing- aka town of a-m-v.org. Put it in the general forums where they'd get locked (and rightly so) in a few minutes? Off sight is just the road to destruction. Journal section where your replies get hard to index or refer to after 5 posts? Journals are not for that, and General forums are not for that.

note: this may or may not refer to the fairer sex... I can't multitask, I'm just single minded like that.
