Suggestion for a New Bracket Code

The difference is one is a link where you have to type in the name of the video, who made it, etc.

While this you can get it from the URL, you only have to type the number. It automatically gives you music, anime, creator, studio, name, etc.

I know the difference between just linking and using the new tag.

what I was trying to say was I don't think having to get/remember the id# is any harder than it was to get/remember the url...and that the new tag saves a lot of effort

Ah, I thought you meant that it would take the same amount of time to get the ID as it would to just use the URL brackets. I was trying to say that the URL would take longer since you actually have to type out all the information regarding the video when linking it.

ah- it seems i should have read this thread. i misunderstood what the video tags were for.
i though they added the ability to embed videos - thank god they didn't
