Unlocked, because it takes less topics if I do :>
Complete guide should be up (same address, http://wolfii.own.cz/orgguide/ ) - go forth, my dedicated proofreaders!
If anything is missing, tell me - even little things, I couldn't check the online version, sadly (slow net is slow, I was lucky to upload it)

Isn't the redesign going to change many of these things, whenever the redesign is done?

Looks like I'm not the only one who likes white text on black bg.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Light text on dark backgrounds are better for your eyesight. Besides, it contrasts with the org screenshots which imo is a good thing.
RE: Org screenshots. You are wasting a lot of screen real estate by including the org's grey background. Perhaps you can crop that out of them? Since the res and positioning of the org in the screenshots seems consistent, you could use a tool like irfanview to batch crop the images.
A negative side effect of thegrey borders in the image fixed width of the css is that it requires the browser window to be wide. If the window is too narrow then all of the content is shoved down below the navigation menu.
Edit: In addition to cropping the images, maybe you could change the css to not use hardcoded widths?
This will prevent the main div from being shoved below the nav if the browser window is not large enough.

Could also just zoom for larger/clarity.
I just use the CTRL key and roll my mouse wheel.

Yep, thanks a lot - I was doing this stuff a bit late and just got baffled up by it @.@Corran wrote:Light text on dark backgrounds are better for your eyesight. Besides, it contrasts with the org screenshots which imo is a good thing.

And you're the second person to talk about cropping those pictures, so I'll do it ;x

Re: New newbie entering/upload guide proofread
Thumbs up on the guide; the process is really well-detailed, though it still needs some polishing in terms of links (i.e., when you mention posting on the forum, it's probably best to link straight to Site Help, etc).
I was doing a bit of a language rewrite (my job involves communicating a lot of technical information in English to people who don't have a common first language, so I've gotten big on writing for accessibility) to clear up some points, but since that's already gone over 20,000 characters, I'll save those suggestions until you've gotten this into more of a final form.
