But there are reasons for these rules which go way back, years ago. I don't question them, and oddly enough, because of some of these rules, I've grown to prefer the clean, simple look of these forums over other forums that have much looser rules and humongous billboard-like signatures. Even compared to [a forum that I cannot mention here], which has fairly strict avatar and signature banner rules, this site looks much more orderly, albeit a little sterile.
It's ok to say what you think here (as long as you are civil), although it is up to the people who run this site whether to listen to your suggestions and comments or to ignore them. That's what the Site Feedback forum is for.
