You'd be surprised what you can put in the limited space. I certainly have had a lot of different stuff here over the last 3 years, and I never felt all that restricted.

That said, yes, I'm a graphics whore and would abuse a limitless forum. Which goes to say that it's probably a good thing that the .org keeps me constrained in that...

My current avatar is 5kb
And the 120x120 version 1s 10kb ^_^

The avatar sizes are fine. Unobtrusive, yet large enough to contain a reasonable sized picture. Even the stater of this topic agrees.

Personally, I kinda wish the limit was 100x100, since that seems to be the norm in my experience, and I'd be able to use the same images I use elsewhere. But I'm not really bothered by it.
