The rule of thumb is that a video must be majority anime-type material.

o ok cool than i can use static shock becus it's an anime-type it just wasnt mead in japan. and any way in the top 10% theres a vid that some one mead is's not anime they just mead the thing in flash or some thing.

You can not make an amv if the video is mostly Static Shock, Teen Titans, Megas XLR, Avatar, Totally Spies, Code Lyoko, or any other US made anime.

You can have videos that (mostly) use.

A)Anime, as in cartoons created in Japan
B) Japanese video game footage, such as Final Fantasy.
and C) Origianl animation, but only if it is in the spirit of an AMV.

I hope I didn't mess up that

So the answer is, No, you cannot make a pure Static Shock video and upload it onto the site, (while you are free to make them, you can't upload them to the .org)

Let's be straight about this: STATIC SHOCK IS NOT ANIME!

OK, get it? Got it? Good.

If your video is majority anime and happens to include a bit of Static Shock, that's one thing. If you upload a majority Static Shock video, on the other hand, don't be surprised when it gets deleted without warning.
