There's another "n" before the "ni", and the glide is a "chi", not a "cho". It's also supposed to be "ha" instead of "wa", but I don't really think anyone really cares about that since it's pronounced "konnichi wa". (Somebody who knows more than me can verify or refute this...)Celos wrote:conichowa
hehe i speak japanese too
Anyway, the correct spelling would be
konnichi ha; こんいちは (in hiragana); 今日は (in kanji)
just some corrections (heh, and I probably messed up some facts as well...eh it happens)

It's pronounced "konnichi wa", but if you strictly romanize the kana, it should be "konnichi ha". My Japanese textbook doesn't romanize much of anything, so I can't really use that as a basis, but I don't think anyone really cares so long as your romanization is close.)v(ajin Koji wrote:well i was taught "Konnichi wa", although it mightve been for ease of use...i had a fair few people in my class who didnt even want to learn.trythil wrote:There's another "n" before the "ni", and the glide is a "chi", not a "cho". By the way, "chi" isn't a glide, but "cho" is
