Let me break this to you, Army of Two and Assassin's Creed probably won't be confirmed since they aren't anime as defined by this site.

Plus,You see, Capcom held a stage event for its big TGS showpiece, bringing out producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi for a short demonstration of the "work in progress." Kobayashi also brought along the game's director, Hideaki Itsuno.
Kobayashi closed off with the big news that Capcom had been promising prior to TGS. Devil May Cry is being converted to an anime! The animated series will feature Dante as the main character and will begin airing on Japanese cable in 2007.

Well, if it's got a combo of sources, it may be acceptable. For example, if it's 50% DMC4 and the rest of the video is the other 2 sources, then you are probably good to go. If the DMC4 footage percentage is less, then the percentage of it qualifying is less, in a exponential proportion.Juubei Keisuke wrote:Any loophole that can be placed in there? Assassin's Creed can be written off somehow >,>. I've seen Halo MVs... I've seen MGS videos, the only legality to MGS is its "japanese" creators, but even then thats a dim reason.
Since the name of the site is ANIMEmusicvideos.org, and there are oftentimes a tight relationship between anime and Japanese video games, the game movies and cutscenes are accepted as anime. As such, MGS videos are considered anime-based here.
But, just like non-Japanese 'anime-style' cartoons (Teen Titans, Avatar, etc.) aren't considered anime by this site, neither is footage from non-Japanese video games (Halo). If you see AMVs on this site that violate these requirements, you should report them to the admins. Some of these Halo videos were probably uploaded when the confirmation of non-anime sources and videos was looser in the past.

Not here, but there are other sites that are interested in Western game MVs. (This is animemusicvideos.org, if you hadn't noticed.) I don't know whether machinima communities are OK with footage captured from in-game cinematics rather than staged/acted out footage, but you can always ask them.Juubei Keisuke wrote:*sigh* oh well, no use fighting the system. Its a shame that my first music video can't be posted;(
Failing all else, there's That Site With Lots of Random Clips of People Ranting Too Close to the Camera and Stuff.
