Journals are being used as chatrooms...to an obsene amount

...this thread demands a two-cent tax from me.

the Journals (as I see them) are not meant for chatting. It's alright to respond to questions in other people's journals...but they should not be used for chatting.

as pointed out earlier (and in Cornwiggle's journal) we do have a pm system that is perfectly functional.
We also have that nice little "send pm to this user" link in the journals. (heck...it also fills out the username field for you)

IIRC, the agreement that was reached in the old thread was a maximum of 3 entries per day. This seems like a reasonable ammount, you can still ask and respond to questions, but there won't be this pointless chatting going on.
(by pointless, I mean entires that are one line and consist of SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!1!!one! and other things of that nature).

I use the journal to just write whatever is happening (amv related or not...for those who read mine regularly you probably know that it's mostly non-amv stuff). I like to read other people's journals for the same thing...just kinda what's going on
