Question About Uploading a Certain Kind of Video To The Org

I'm thinking about making a comedy video after my current video, but it's not really using a song and is just going to be some clips from the Cell Games episodes of Dragonball Z. I'm going to make a video of where it looks like Mr Satan really does defeat Cell. Of course the audio will be the actual audio from the anime as well and not music, so I'm wondering if you're allowed to upload this kind of video to the org, since it's not really a music video?

I think you actually have to use at least some music for it to be accepted in the org, since it's directed towards music videos, and not just fan-made videos even if it contains anime footage and audio from anime...

You have youtube for non-amv fan-made videos. Even if your video is entertaining, I really don't believe this is the place for that type of project.

a mod edited my post... I was refering to a site that begins with "you". That site is for other types of videos.... this site is only for AMVs in my opinion.

I think its allowed. You don't have to use "music", per se, as long as you are editing it to be something new and different. I guess this might be borderline though. Probably the best thing would be to show a mod or something once you have the work completed.

It's not that there's no music, it's that you're using the series audio... I know a lot of cons actually won't even show an AMV if it has dubbed audio in it at all.

I doubt I'll ever go to a con unfortunately, though I can imagine it's a lot of fun.
