Newbie to be

Post by AEnkryption » Mon Feb 06, 2006 12:52 am

Hey all.
I'm new to the whole AMV scene and I finally got a hold of Adobe Premiere Pro. So yes. I'm going to be leet. Since i'm new to the whole thing, im gonna need some help so thats why i put this randomly in this thread since this is the most "general" of them all.

1) Contests - How do you enter them and what are the qualifications? Do you actually have to be in the area that they're being held?

2) Videos - How do you get people to actually watch your video once you've posted them on the site? (Besides nagging everyone on your msn list to sign up and download them =P )

3) Godliness - How do you make the best AMV. xD

Anyways, yea... its the midnight here and i'm in the process of test encoding my video so whatever i write here might not be legible. Oh well...

So lonely here O_O...

*runs*

Hi. Welcome to the Org.

To address your questions:
1) That all depends entirely upon the contest, and I do mean all.

2) Make a good video, post a thread in the AMV Announcements forum, put a link in your sig, do opinion exchanges, etc. That will all help. The best way, however, is simple: make a good video. Word of mouth will work better than any of the above.

3) There is no answer to this. Really.

Have fun.
