I don't know which mod locked this thread, but I think whoever it was took it the wrong way and I don't know where else to address it. The source material in question was originally broadcast on ABC in the early 50s and is in the public domain. I wouldn't ask for anything that couldn't be obtained legitimately.
Also, I was hoping a fellow forum member would have the material in question in a christmas collection (VHS from years past, or maybe a collectors edition DVD) which I could purchase or borrow.
I wasn't looking for a download link.
Mods shouldn't be so quick to assume the worst.

You are mistaken. Nothing copyrighted in the united states has fallen into public domain since just before Disney's Steamboat Willie was made, which was back in 1928. While the constitution calls for limited duration copyrights, Disney and the rest of the copyright cartels have successfully lobbied congress to repeatedly extend the length of copyrights. The acts that lengthen copyright durations has become known as "Mickey Mouse" acts, because they are largely backed by Disney, in an attempt to keep their beloved mascot from falling into the public domain.moogla wrote:I don't know which mod locked this thread, but I think whoever it was took it the wrong way and I don't know where else to address it. [MOD432: In reflection, it was my mistake to assume moogla was looking for illegal methods on obtaining the sources. Thread unlocked.]
