Can't connect to the IRC chat room.

This started to happened around yesterday. I tried a bunch of IRC chat programs like Chatzilla and mIRC, but I was still unable to connect. Variety of error messages include "Connection Refused" or "Unable to connect: Software cause connection abort".

Any idea why it does that?

I know last night there was an unusual amount of netsplits. I suspect the problem was with IRC rather than you.

Hmm, does it have to do with what's written in your sig?

No. What is written in my sig refers to something that, at the moment at least, is no longer in effect. I have high hopes for it's future though.

So is anyone else having the same problems I'm having? I'm getting a feeling I'm the only one.
