Banners on the Forums

Post by greenjinjo » Tue Jul 26, 2005 10:15 pm

This is something I've always noticed but never really gave it two thoughts before, but why aren't the banners from the banner ad contest on top of the forum as well? Maybe that'd spice up the layout a bit?

Just a thought

That would require MODding phpBB. There, I suspect, is your reason.

I guess I'll have to update my adblock list if this idea goes through. Great.

I guess I'l have to bother downloading addblock if that happens. Nothing wrong with them on the main site and member pages, but keep them out of the forum.

Like 1 amv banner at the top of the forum is really going to hurt you, when 50% of people posting already have banners in their sigs ;p

Not saying I support the idea though...

Hmmm.... we should probably have an option to turn off the banners.
