Why can't you upload them here?

I don't believe Angelfire is very good. If anything... you could try something like rapidshare.de...

But again, why not here?

whasewhothewhere???

That's not quite...

...strange. You can handle editing vids and crappy hosting, but you can't manage FTP? Even if you technically don't even need to download anything for it (besides, perhaps for your own convinience, an essential FTP client).

Well, off to Rapidshare with you then - that one's a no-brainer

I wasn't being rude, sorry if it came off that way.
But it's just that the FTP way to this site is far, far better than Rapidshare or anything else. The logical choice would be to just do it. I mean, for all you know, you should probably have an FTP client on your computer already - it's really a very standard piece of software most people have, and they're safe and generally free.

Again, Rapidshare is slightly easier for you, but it's far less easy for downloaders (some of whom will not be able to get the video from Rapidshare except at certain hours) - and many people just like LOCAL hosting here on the .org.

So, suit yourself, but FTP, technically speaking, is not a filesharing program if you don't use it like one. It's an essential piece of software for web usage. Hell, even my school computers have one

You even don't need a special FTP program to upload vid's. Windows explorer for e.g. supports FTP, and the most web browsers do as well.

Sorry for the double post. If you have your own webspace, you need FTP for upload too. So the only reason to host it on your own webspace is if the vid violates the rules for local hosting.

Otohiko's not rude, he just talks that way.

It's best to just upload it onto this site as a local vid. If you have to, go to your friends house, the library, a nearby college, or anywhere else and try to upload it with an FTP program "I use Cute FTP Proffesional".
