Quick question,

is the pledge one-time or not? Coz I read two pages and they're different, the other says one-time while the other says well "pledge".

and any other way to pay with CC without PayPal?

When you pledge you can choose various pledge methods. For example you can pledge to pay a certain amount of money every month, or a certain amount twice a year, or whatever. There is also an option for a yearly, or 1-time pledge. If you choose this one you are ONLY required to donate 1 time. You will be sent a reminder after 1 year, but you are not obligated to donate any more. If you choose any of the other pledge options, like monthly, then you ARE obligated to make a donation every month.
So basically, if you just want it to be a 1 time thing, do the yearly one.

Regarding the credit card, I *think* you can only do it via paypal, but that could probably be better answered by someone else.
