I imagine this is probably a frequently asked thing, but I couldn't find it stickied so I'm going to assume it's fair game.
I ran the Animazement AMV contest this year. As such, I know exactly what videos were in the contest as well as submitted and rejected. When I pulled up the Animazement 2005 listing in power search, literally more than half of the videos listed were never to any degree in any way related to the Animazement 2005 contest. I know people are spamming their videos across as many contests as possible to get max exposure for their AMVs, but is it in any way possible for me to provide someone with a list of videos that should be removed from the Animazement 2005 category? I don't expect you to give us the ability to change other people's stuff or anything; I'm merely wondering if it's possible to clean things up a bit. As is the search feature is somewhat limited in usefulness due to the AMV spam.

Re: Removing Videos From Contest Listings
As Kalium said, its on the site to-do list (and has been for a while, unfortunately...). However, you might find sending the relevant members a note helps (assuming you can edit the contest participation when doing Edit Video... not sure...) because it might be that they thought that putting the contest on their AMV entry actually enters them, and they just need educating.Kurai Seraphim wrote:I know people are spamming their videos across as many contests as possible to get max exposure for their AMVs, but is it in any way possible for me to provide someone with a list of videos that should be removed from the Animazement 2005 category?
